In February 2024, Bridging Europe hosted its final local conference in Berlin, a landmark event that brought together the culmination of the Green Job Growth (GJG) project. This important gathering attracted local youth workers and stakeholders for sustainable development, all keen to explore the project’s outcomes and their implications for the future of green employment.
The conference provided a comprehensive overview of the GJG project’s success, showcasing the innovative resources developed over its course, including the Pedagogies and Competences Guidebook, the interactive e-learning modules, and the Toolkit for Youth Workers. These tools have been carefully crafted to support youth workers in guiding young individuals toward meaningful employment opportunities in the green sector.
Participants were treated to a series of presentations by project leaders and contributors who detailed the creative processes behind each output and discussed the tangible impacts they have observed in their communities. The event also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the project’s partners across Europe, underscoring the collective commitment to advancing green skills among Europe’s youth.
This conference highlighted the critical role of continuous learning and collaboration in promoting sustainability and green jobs, setting a robust foundation for future initiatives that will further enhance the capabilities of Europe’s youth workforce in the green economy.
